Red Tents were historically places where women who were menstruating 

would gather, share wisdom, practice self-care/rituals and initiate girls into the rites of

womanhood. Modern Red Tents, such as Daughters of Egypt is a place where mothers

(motherly figures) and daughters gather for retreat and community; to pamper and be pampered;

nurture and be nurtured and BREAK THE TABOOS SURROUNDING MENSTRUATION & SELF-CARE. Join our
